COLLEGE RECRUITMENT PATHWAY
U15
EDUCATION PHASE
Introduce the college pathway, academic standards, GPA importance, & idea of building a player profile. Offering support to players to build good & early habits in academic and athletic life.
U16
FOUNDATION PHASE
Create or update BYGA profile, begin collecting highlight clips, identify broad school interests, attend education sessions, and start learning how to communicate with college coaches.
U17
ACTIVE RECRUITMENT
Email college coaches, attend showcases and ID events, visit campuses, build a realistic target school list, update video, track coach responses, and schedule conversations when appropriate.
U19
DECISION PHASE
Narrow school options, manage offers and interest, apply to schools, visit final list campuses when possible, communicate final decisions, and confirm the best next step.
