Ironbound Boys and Girls Club Indoor Soccer League 

 

The 2012 Ironbound Boys and Girls Club Indoor Soccer League will begin on Saturday, January 7, 2012.  The league will be played every saturday, until March 3, 2012 (3/10/12 in case of any cancelation due to inclement weather).  The league will also be played on two sundays (1/29/12, 2/19/12).  Games will be scheduled throughout the day, with the first game starting at 8:00 am and the last at 10:00 pm.

A weekly schedule will be posted on our website, and it will be the final.  Please verify the schedule every Friday night, before the weekend of the games.

 

LOCATION

All games are played at the Ironbound Boys and Girls Club, 11 Providence Street, Newark, NJ.  On game days please use the side door entrance on Read Street.

ROSTERS

The players have been allocated to teams.  You can find the name of your team, in the following link: ROSTERS.   If you played in the Fall Recreational League (at Independence Park), you more than likely are the same team, however some changes were made, therefore please verify. Some team names may have been changed, please verify.

UNIFORMS

Players who played in the Fall Recreational League (at Independence Park), you will use the same uniform, unless your team was switched.  New players will be given their uniform on Saturday, 30 minutes prior to your game.

 

You must arrive 30 minutes before your game time.  The games run on a very tight schedule, and if teams are not ready to play, the games will be canceled.  Please be courteous to your teammates and your opponents, and arrive on time.

Must wear sneakers, shorts, and shin guards.  No cleats are allowed.  No jewelry is allowed.

Please verify the schedule every Friday night.

 TEAM CHECK-IN 

 

 

ONLY PLAYERS AND COACHES  ARE ALLOWED ON THE BENCHES.

 

 

Teams must check in 15 minutes prior to the start of their game.  Check in is done by the scorer’s table.  Coaches must fill out the game roster, with the necessary information, and bring the roster with the players to the scorer’s table.  No jewelry is allowed.  All players must wear shin guards.

Passes will not be used.  The pictures of the players will be on the back of the rosters, and this is how teams will be checked in.

BOYS:  U9-U19

GIRLS: U16-U17 only

March 16-18, 2012

Ironbound SC is pleased to invite your team to apply to the 2012 Ironbound Spring Warm-Up Tournament to be held March 16-18, 2012. The tournament is an unrestricted US Club Soccer sanctioned tournament. It is open to club teams with up to 3 (three) guest players in U-9 to U18/19 (boys), and U16-U17 (girls) age divisions from USSF affiliates.

A minimum of 3 (three) games is guaranteed. Matches will be played

Friday (evening after 6PM – local teams), Saturday (all day), Sunday (all day).
Price:  Full Sided teams ($650)  Small Sided teams ($595)

OUR PHILOSOPHY AND PROGRAMS:

Ironbound SC was established for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth soccer program whose goals are to achieve state, regional, and national soccer championship titles, as well as developing players capable of receiving college scholarships based on their playing ability and academic achievement. However, realization of these goals must be accomplished within the proper framework by instilling character, self-esteem, confidence, and sportsmanship within the young athlete.
