Tampa, FL - November 23, 2009, 9:00 pm.
ISC Fury defeat Mountain WFC (Can) 2-1 in the U-13 boys semi-final, and becomes the only NJ team to play in the finals.
The ISC Fury in a very intense, and nerve-racking game jumped to a 1-0 lead on a Trevor Nitti, penalty kick, around the 20 minute mark. Mountain tied the game at one, early in the second half, but ISC Fury took the lead on a breakaway goal from Kazari Trought ten minutes later. The game then turned real nerve racking, as ISC went down a man with over 20 minutes left. The boys played with their hearts and souls, stopping every Mountain threat to advance to the finals. The finals will be on Tuesday at 9:00 am, against West Pines (FL) who defeated PDA 3-0 in the other semi-final.
In the consolation round, ISC Inter tied Thompson-Okanagan WFC (Can) 1-1, on a late goal by Brandon Bannout, and the ISC Predators lost to Alliance FC (MI) 2-1, with a goal from Nicolas Deguines.
