Newark, NJ - The 2007 Ironbound Spring Warm-up will be held on March 23-25 , 2007 in Newark, NJ. This premier boys soccer tournament is bringing together some of the top teams, former and current State Cup Champions, Regional Finalists and Premier League teams from throughout the region, including Connecticut,New Hampshire, Eastern New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, Eastern and Western Pennsylvania ,Virginia and New Jersey. Last year's event had some exciting action with dozens of teams going on to win their respective State Cups and excelling at the Region 1 event. This year, we have added the U13 and U14 flights , thus the tournament increases by 30% with dozens being turned away .
Ironbound SC is proud to host these teams for this competition held at Ironbound Stadium Field, Riverbank Park, NJIT's Lubetkin Field ,Rutgers-Newark, Memorial/Tryon field and Williams Field. This event is designed as a great way to kick start the 2007 soccer season and should prove to be one not to miss. Dozens of college coaches have committed to attending this event showcasing these talented teams.
